A Word about our two new services starting this fall...
This year as we look at the fall we are planning a new twist to our two services. Last year we offered two identical services, but in order to more effectively reach a broader spectrum and to minister to a larger number of people, we will be offering two worship services with differing styles. We are excited about the expanded possibilities that this move will bring.
Two Services with Distinct Styles
The 9:00 a.m. service will be more of a “blended” service combining newer songs with older hymns and songs. It will be led by several voices and the choir, and accompanied by the band and occasional orchestra. The 10:45 a.m. service will primarily feature newer songs with an extended time of energetic and passionate musical worship. It will be band-led with a stronger electric guitar, bass guitar, and drum feel.
We will begin our two distinct services on Sunday, October 17. Until that time, we will continue with our summer schedule of one service at 10:00 a.m.
