Bruce began his tenure in August 2011. As our Interim Lead Pastor, he provides visionary leadership, ministry oversight, staff management and mentoring, and the faithful exposition of God’s Word to our congregation. Bruce has worn many different ministry hats throughout the years including pastoring multi-staff churches in Stratford, Ontario and Lloydminster, Alberta; conducting more than 200 church crusades across North America; functioning as a vice-president at Tyndale University College & Seminary in Toronto; and serving as an interim pastor in several churches. He is also the founder and president of Church Growth Resources, which provides vision casting, organizational integrity, and strategic ministry planning to large churches in the United States and Canada. Bruce attended Central Baptist Seminary (now Heritage). He is married to Glenis, and they have two married children and two grandchildren.

Dan joined the West Park staff in May 2009. After three years as the Associate Pastor of Adult Ministries, he assumed the role of Pastor of Church Ministries in summer 2012. Dan oversees all aspects of our family, adult, Chinese, and administrative departments, providing visionary leadership and day-to-day management for the staff members and key coordinators in these ministry areas. Previously, Dan was blessed to minister for seven years as the Associate Pastor at Compass Community Church in Orangeville and for several years as part of the adult ministry team at Harvest Bible Chapel in suburban Chicago. He received both a Bachelor of Religious Studies and a Master of Divinity from Heritage College & Seminary. Dan is married to Carla, and they have three little girls: Julia and Kelsey (twins) and Lauren. He enjoys reading, watching sports, and having tea parties with his daughters.

Jeff has served as the Pastor of Worship Ministries at West Park since October 2005. He leads our blended and modern services and oversees the vocal, instrumental, and technical teams that help to create an atmosphere of authentic and passionate worship. Before coming to West Park, Jeff served for almost eight years at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Chatham and part-time at a congregation in Guelph while he was a student. He graduated from Heritage College with a Bachelor of Church Music. Jeff and his wife Ellie have four kids: Caleb, Moriah, Jadyn, and Kaelyn. When he has spare time, Jeff enjoys fishing, boating, NASCAR, and football.

Joe started in the role of Associate Pastor of Chinese Ministries in March 2013. His primary functions include preaching/teaching, leading, and shepherding among our growing Mandarin-speaking congregation. Joe grew up in an atheistic home in Taiwan and came to the United States for graduate studies in computer science. After a successful career in that field, God graciously saved Joe and eventually called him into vocational ministry. He received a Master of Divinity from Overseas Theological Seminary and then pastored for about six years at Monterey Chinese Christian Church in California and Chinese Christian Fellowship Church in Michigan. Joe serves alongside his wife Amy, and they have a young adult son. He enjoys watching sports, exercising, and singing/listening to music.

Kimberly joined the West Park staff in May 2012. She gives leadership to our ministries for children from birth through grade 5, including Sunday morning, midweek, special occasion, and summer programs. In addition, Kimberly strategizes how to assist and encourage parents in their role as the primary spiritual influencers in the lives of their children. Professionally, she ran a home daycare for a decade. Kimberly also volunteered actively in her previous church as head of the Sunday school department and as a Sunday school teacher, leading parenting courses, and participating in day camp. She graduated from Ambrose University College with a Bachelor of Religious Education. Kimberly is married to Ryan, and they have three kids: Ashley, Alyssa, and Brad. She enjoys watching her kids play sports, reading, gardening, scrapbooking/card making, and knitting.

Anne started attending West Park in 2010 and became a staff member in February 2013. She oversees all aspects of our adult LifeGroups ministry and helps us achieve our mission and vision by championing a small group philosophy throughout the church. Professionally, Anne owned and operated a Christian bookstore in Woodstock for 14 years and worked for seven years in sales and office administration for a custom home builder in London. She has taught many Bible studies/classes and been active in the ministry of prayer at her previous churches and at West Park. Anne and her husband Gerry have two daughters married to two fine sons-in-law, along with seven grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys reading good Christian books, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Chris began as Associate Pastor of Student Ministries in November 2012, overseeing all aspects of our ministries to junior high (grades 6-8), high school (grades 9-12), and young adults (18-25ish). Chris has spent the past 15 years shepherding young people in evangelical churches across the province, including Bayview Glen Church in Thornhill and Trinity Church in Streetsville, and working for organizations like Ontario Pioneer Camp and World Vision Canada. He continues to serve as the founding director of Elevate, a leadership training program for students ages 13-16. Chris is married to Suzanne, and they have a dog, Franklin. Committed to global missions, they enjoy traveling overseas and looking for once-in-a-lifetime moments.

John accepted the part-time position of Associate Pastor of Congregational Care and Senior Adult Ministries in January 2012, helping to cultivate a culture of caring throughout our church, with a special emphasis on our older demographic. He has served for nearly 40 years in various pastoral roles, mostly in southern Ontario within the circle of Fellowship Baptist churches, including two previous stints here at West Park. John has a big heart for the world, having given leadership to Russian Gospel Ministries International for four years. He is a graduate of both Toronto Bible College and Queen’s University. John and his wife Vivian have two married children and six grandchildren. He loves being a grandpa and enjoys reading and painting.

Jackie grew up at West Park and joined the office staff in 2003. In the summer of 2012 she was appointed Director of Administrative Ministries, which involves supporting ministries and events through the organization and scheduling of our facility, maintaining church records, providing support to our pastoral staff, and managing different levels of communication to our congregation. She also enjoys volunteering in our children’s ministry. Jackie graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago with a Bachelor of Music. She and her husband Rob have three children: Lauren, Claire, and Noah. Jackie enjoys running, knitting, and working on crafts with her kids.

Galen joined the West Park staff in March 2013. He oversees and leads our worship and office tech teams as they provide our ministries with the necessary support to function with excellence. Galen got his tech start when he was 14 and volunteered at Orangeville Alliance Church. It was there that his love for Jesus and his love for technology grew together. Galen graduated in 2007 from the Metal Works Institute of Sound and Music Production with a diploma in audio production and engineering. Since then he has worked for Frischkorn Audio Visual as an AV tech and Roland Systems Group as a sales engineer. Galen is engaged to his fiancee Andrea and is set to be married at the end of April 2013. In his spare time, he enjoys baseball, camping, music, and computers.

Carole came to this part-time role in January 2013, helping integrate newcomers into the life of West Park and liaising with our local outreach partners. She has been attending and actively involved at West Park since 1998. Carole spent many years homeschooling her children (who are now grown) and worked in a local Christian bookstore. She received her Honours Bachelor of Arts in social development studies from the University of Waterloo and is passionate about helping families who have young people with special needs build relationships and connections in the community. Carole and her husband Alex have four adult children: Meaghan (married to Mark), Heather, Becky, and Tim. In her free time, she loves to visit over coffee, read, walk the dog, and spend time with family (especially her three beautiful granddaughters).
