At West Park we commit ourselves to families in two significant ways. First, we commit to guiding and equipping parents with tools and resources to help them be the primary spiritual influencers in their homes. Second, we commit to teaching and reinforcing God’s truths to kids through a variety of creative and relevant means.
Nursery >> Ministry to a young family, at its very heart, involves compassionate and tender care for their children. Nursery care is available for infants from the most exceptional volunteers at both our 9:00 and 10:45 am Sunday worship services.
KidsWalk >> This is our Sunday morning program for children ages 2½ through grade 5. KidsWalk runs during the entire adult worship service at both 9:00 and 10:45 am and includes music, drama, a key-note speaker, LifeGroup discussions, crafts and activities, offering, and a time of prayer. This allows the children to experience a creative and compelling worship service designed especially for them. Our focus for KidsWalk is that as kids grow and mature, truths from God’s Word will shape how they process the many challenges that come their way.
KidsWorks >> KidsWorks happens on Tuesday nights from 6:15-8:15 pm for children in grades 1-5. Our purpose for this program is to teach practical life skills and to help kids discover how they are God’s workmanship, designed and created by him for a purpose and place in this world.
Child Dedication >> This is a public commitment that you, the parent(s), make before God, your church, and your family. The dedication service is an opportunity to express your desire to spiritually nurture your child so that one day he or she will develop a desire to love God and love others.
As kids learn biblical truths and experience God’s love both at home and at church, they have an opportunity to move into the future with a solid faith foundation. Thank you for the privilege of partnering with you to help your child develop a faith that sticks. At West Park we believe that the Word of God not only changes a child; it changes a family!
