KidsWalk is our Sunday morning program for children ages 2½ through grade 5. KidsWalk runs during the entire adult worship service at both 9:00 and 10:45 am and includes music, drama, a key-note speaker, LifeGroup discussions, crafts and activities, offering, and a time of prayer. This allows the children to experience a creative and compelling worship service designed especially for them.
We have incorporated a new electronic registration system that will help us transition the children safely to their classrooms, be better aware of first-time guests and kids with allergies, and track attendance more accurately. Parents register their child(ren) at our Registration Centre before the worship service begins and then take their child(ren) directly to their respective classrooms.
We are also introducing a new curriculum called The Gospel Project for Kids. This incredible Christ-centred curriculum follows a chronological timeline of Bible events over a period of three years, presenting the story of redemption through Jesus like kids have never seen it before! Each week these stories come to life through various media and activities.
Our focus for KidsWalk is that as kids grow and mature, truths from God’s Word will shape the way they process the many challenges that come their way. Each week we send an email to the parents, explaining what was taught the previous Sunday and equipping them to ask key questions so that their family can discover the big picture of God’s story.
