My name is Kimberly Enns. My father was a pastor with The Christian and Missionary Alliance for 27 years and served in churches across Canada. I became a Christian at a children’scrusade as a young child. I enjoyed my teen years and was very involved in various youth programs. I also worked at Muskoka Woods Sports Resort for several summers.
After high school I went to Canadian Bible College in Regina, Saskatchewan and graduated with a four-year Bachelor of Religious Education degree. It was while in Bible college that I met and married my best friend, Ryan. I also did a summer missions trip to Peru and a summer youth internship in Winnipeg.
Ryan and I have three great kids. Ashley is 15, Alyssa is 13, and Brad is 11. Our kids enjoy their sports like soccer, basketball, football, and hockey. They are also very much enjoying the student ministry here with Pastor Brad and the youth leadership team.
My volunteer experience over the past number of years includes: serving as head of the Sunday school department and as a Sunday school teacher; leading parenting courses (with Ryan); and participating in day camp, jr. high youth, and women’s ministries. Professionally, for the past decade I have run a daycare in our home and assisted with some respite care.
This past year I have been restless and seeking God for a new direction for ministry in my life. We came to West Park last fall and have been very excited to see our kids connecting and growing in their walk with the Lord. Ryan and I joined a LifeGroup and have grown in our walk and relationships. I am so excited to begin this new chapter in my life. I love to work with “little people” and their families! I know that God has exciting things in store for all of us. I am honoured to be a part of this church and the leadership team.
