God is a promiser by nature. He loves making promises to his children, and he always keeps his word (Joshua 21:45). The pages of Scripture are filled with many “great and precious promises” (2 Peter 1:4) that assure us of his loving presence and diligent work in our lives. When life is hard, God’s promises give us a firm foundation and the hope to carry on.
Join us for the six-session DVD study Always True featuring James MacDonald. This study explores five key promises from the Bible and five ways that believers can respond to them by faith.
> I will not fear; God is always with me.
> I will not doubt; God is always in control.
> I will not despair; God is always good.
> I will not falter; God is always watching.
> I will not fail; God is always victorious.
We will meet in the Chapel each Wednesday night, July 11 to August 15, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm for large group teaching and small group discussion and prayer. Come when you can, and don’t worry about missing a week or two because of vacation as each session stands on its own.
