Our congregational care ministries focus primarily on the needs of people within the West Park family and function based on the belief that meeting those needs is a shared responsibility. We are committed to living out the principle of Galatians 6:2: “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you fulfill the law of Christ.”

Visitation Ministry >> This ministry endeavours to express the love of God through in-person and phone call visitation to members of our West Park family who are in the hospital, in a nursing home, or senior in age. Benevolence Ministry >> This ministry provides short-term emergency funding to meet the material needs of those within the West Park family and also those from our community. Care with Compassion >> This ministry seeks to encourage the people of West Park in very practical ways. Teams of individuals rotate on a weekly basis to provide meals, send cards, give rides, or even babysit when there is a genuine need. Ministry of Cheer >> This ministry sends cards and flowers to new mothers and those in the hospital. Our prayer is that these people would experience the love of God and the love of their West Park family. For more information, please contact Pat Boyachek at (519) 474-1849 or by email.
Ministry of Celebration >> This ministry provides opportunities for the people of West Park, as well as extended family and friends, to come together and celebrate with those who are getting married for the first time or having their first child. When possible, these events are planned and hosted by smaller groups of people within the church who have a close relationship with those being celebrated. Quilt Ministry >> This ministry provides handmade quilts as a tangible expression of love and concern and as a practical gift of warmth and comfort. Quilts are given to people in our church family (shut-ins, those who are chronically ill, new babies, etc.), our local community (agencies such as London Crisis Pregnancy Centre, Merrymount Children’s Centre, Children’s Aid Society, Children’s Hospital, etc.), missions groups, and more.
