ComPASSION
ComPASSION is a way for our students to experience what it means to serve God, both on a local and global level. We do this by getting involved in areas of ministry at our church (Children’s ministry, worship bands, tech crews, etc.), volunteering in our community, raising money to help those in needs, partnering with national organizations, etc. In the past we have sponsored a well in Kenya through World Vision, raised money for the London Women’s Shelter, put on a coffee house benefit for Children’s Aid, and hosted Concert for a Cure for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
Current volunteer opportunities within our church:
West Park Student Ministry Band – We are always looking for new talent to add to our band!
Greeting Team – We need your help to create a warm and inviting atmosphere at West Park Student Ministry! Help with greeting, set-up, clean-up, and/or lead a table.
Tech Crew – Our tech people ensure our weekly programming always runs smoothly! Sign up to help with audio/video, media, lighting, and/or camera operators.
Kids Ministry – Be a leader in our Children’s Ministry by volunteering for KidsWalk and KidsWorks! Help with childcare, small groups, worship, drama, computer check-in, audio/video, and by being a student mentor to a child.
Worship Band/Vocalist – Love to sing or play an instrument? Volunteer to get involved with the music for our Sunday services!
Worship Tech Crew – We rely on our tech people to pull off our Sunday services! Sign up to help with operating our sound board, easy worship, lighting board, and/or camera operators.

Missions Trips (Sr. High)
Missions trips are another way that our students can experience serving God. Those in Sr. High have the opportunity to make a difference in our world, whether here in North America or Oversees, by participating in a missions trip. In the past, our two big missions trips have been to Bay City, Michigan and Puerto Rico.
